Screenshot Text Preprocessing Expert

Job ID: 40491798

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have a batch of screenshot-based images that mix numbers and alphabetic characters, and they are currently too noisy for reliable recognition. What I need first is solid preprocessing and cleaning: remove artefacts, correct lighting and skew, sharpen character edges, and generally deliver images (or a repeatable script) that are OCR-ready.

The job is time-sensitive—I’d like to see results as soon as possible—so an efficient, well-documented workflow matters as much as the visual outcome. Python with OpenCV, Pillow or similar libraries is totally fine; if you prefer another toolset just let me know, as long as it produces equally clean output.

Deliverables
• A reproducible script or notebook that ingests my screenshots and outputs cleaned images
• The processed image set itself, ready for downstream OCR
• Brief usage notes so I can rerun or tweak the process on future screenshots

I’ll share sample files right after kickoff so you can demonstrate a quick proof of concept and we can iterate from there.
