Raspberry Pi Python Code Conversion

I am currently seeking a skilled and experienced programmer in handling Raspberry Pi systems and Python. I require a specialized service to convert an existing Python script I have that's currently set up to process data from a Raspberry Pi camera module using the OpenCV library.
The responsibilities would include:
- Conversion of existing PiCamera Python code to Picamera2
- Image capture functionality must be retained in the conversion process
- Ensure that the transition from PiCamera to PiCamera2 does not hamper the function of the script
The ideal candidate must have:
- Extensive experience in Python coding
- Proficient in using the Raspberry Pi platforms
- Experience in handling camera data processing with OpenCV
- Previous work in code transition or conversion projects
