Face distance from the camera

Hello Freelancers, I would like to ask you for help writing a Python script with OpenCV for measuring the distance of human face from the camera during video. I was thinking it can be done by recognising the position of both eyes and calculating the changes in distance between them. But if you have better approach with more precision I am happy to discuss it. Thank you in advance for your offers.
