AI-Powered Text to eBook/PDF SaaS
Budget: $50 – $0 AUD
I am seeking a skilled and experienced developer to help us create an AI-powered text to PDF eBook SaaS platform.
The core function will allow users to create PDF format guides and eBooks from simply typing in a document editor that will be in the application, similar to Word/Google Docs but with very minimal text formatting. The user then is able is select layout and design of the PDF from the list of templates. They then generate and it turns their text into a beautiful PDF that’s ready to sell or share with their customers/audience. The AI that would be involved in this SaaS is when they are writing their guide/eBook. The AI writing assistant can help them come up with content. This could be powered by OpenAI GPT. However, I plan on offering the AI writing assistant in an upgraded/paid option of this SaaS. Free users won’t get access to this feature. So this could be a feature to be added in the future, not in the MVP, but I thought I would mention it here.
In addition, AI would be able to detect the formatting of the text based on what the user formatted it is as (headings 1/2/3, body text, quote text, etc) and lay out the text on the template neatly.
I have a prototype that I built in Figma of the MVP of the SaaS I wish to launch and can share a video demonstrating how I would like it to work. This should also give you a more accurate estimate of the cost of this project and length of how long it will take. I would like to first develop a MVP of the product that’s ready for users to start using and develop added features once feedback is provided from users.
The ideal candidate should have experience in developing web applications and web development. Preferably full-stack as I would like the front-end and backend to be developed and designed. Additionally, the candidate should be familiar with developing AI-based applications that use models such as GPT-3/4.
As the developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing the platform, ensuring that it meets the needs of my specification. This will involve working closely with me to identify key requirements and then developing a solution that meets those requirements. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the platform is scalable, secure, and reliable.
To be considered for this position, you must have a strong track record of developing web applications and web development. You should also be proficient in using AI models such as GPT-3 and GPT-4. Please submit a proposal that outlines how you can help with the project, including links to past completed projects that demonstrate your skills and experience.
This is a 3 to 6-month project with the possibility of extension if the work is successful. If you believe you have the skills and experience we are looking for, we encourage you to submit your proposal.
