The AI Trip Builder will be a web-based trip creation platform built on WordPress with a custom PHP backend. It enables users to instantly generate travel itineraries using OpenAI’s GPT API in a standardized format. The system eliminates manual itinerary creation by automating destination planning, pricing, hotel insertion, and inclusions/exclusions based on predefined logic.
How It Works
Users simply enter their name and mobile number, fill out a short trip form (pickup city, drop city, dates, number of travelers, and preferences), and the app automatically fetches an itinerary from OpenAI. The output is displayed in a unique format with sections for sightseeing, hotel recommendations, policies, inclusions, and pricing. Users can then review, edit, and finalize the itinerary.
Once finalized, the itinerary can be:
Shared, Downloaded, or Copied
Sent to a Travel Agent for quotation or customization
All created itineraries are saved in a MySQL database connected to WordPress, allowing admins to review and publish the best ones directly to the Trypdeals website as SEO-optimized tour packages.
