Integrate Perplexity API into Existing Agentic Framework

I have an existing agentic framework.
I need the LLM agent to have access to perplexity tool.
The tool should also add its gathered knowledge into context/knowledge.
There are other frameworks out there that already have implemented this successfully and have code available so your job is just to repurpose the code and make it work in my system.
Strong experience working with RAG/knowledge-spaces and perplexity needed.
