ChatGPT Product Descriptions for WordPress

I need a seamless way to call the OpenAI ChatGPT API from inside my existing WordPress dashboard so I can generate unique, on-brand product descriptions directly onto my e-commerce product pages. The goal is simple: from the “Add / Edit Product” screen (I’m using WooCommerce), I should be able to click a button, pass the product name, key features and tone guidelines, then receive a polished description that drops straight into the description field—ready to publish or tweak.

Key requirements
• Native-feeling WordPress or WooCommerce plugin (custom-built or smartly configured from an existing framework).
• Secure API connection with my own OpenAI key, respecting rate limits and error handling.
• Field mapping so I can decide which product attributes feed the prompt.
• Adjustable prompt template inside the settings page for future fine-tuning of voice and length.
• Clean, well-commented PHP/JS code and brief user guide so I can maintain it.

Nice-to-have but not essential right now: the option to expand the same integration later for other content types (blog posts, social media captions, support replies).
