Swap NRF to ELRS Telemetry

My current ground control setup runs QGroundControl on an open-source stack and still relies on an NRF24 transmitter-receiver pair for telemetry. I’m ready to retire that link and bring everything over to ExpressLRS (ELRS) so I can take advantage of its longer range and higher refresh rate without touching the rest of the workflow inside QGroundControl.

Here’s what I need completed:

• Configure and bind a matched ELRS transmitter and receiver pair, flash them with the appropriate firmware version, and verify they pass telemetry data over MAVLink.
• Adapt or update any flight-controller firmware settings so QGroundControl recognises the new link exactly as it does the legacy NRF modules.
• Prove the solution in a bench test (live sensor values, parameter read/write, mission upload, log download) and supply a concise step-by-step document so I can replicate the process on additional airframes.

Acceptance criteria: with the ELRS link active, QGroundControl must maintain a stable connection for at least 20 minutes, stream real-time telemetry without packet loss spikes, and complete a full parameter sync in under two minutes.

If you’re comfortable working with ELRS firmware tools, MAVLink configuration, and QGroundControl settings, this should be a clean, contained project.
