Mid-Poly Character Modeling Specialist

Job ID: 40494440

Budget: $2 – $8 USD

I’m working on a character-driven project and need someone who can jump straight into modeling a mid-poly hero asset. The pipeline here relies on LightWave for scene management, Open3D for point-cloud and mesh inspection, and OpenSCAD for a few parametric hard-surface inserts, so you’ll need to be comfortable moving data smoothly among those environments.

What I already have: concept sketches, orthographic turnarounds, and a rough proportions block-out. What I need from you: a clean, animation-ready mid-poly mesh that holds its silhouette from all key angles, with tidy edge flow around the joints so our rigger’s life stays easy. UVs should be logically laid out and packed; no texturing or rigging is required in this phase.

Preferred formats are LWO/LWS out of LightWave plus an interchangeable OBJ or glTF for the rest of the team. I’m happy to review WIP shots in either Open3D screen captures or your native viewport—whatever is faster for you.

Deliverables on approval:
• Final mid-poly character mesh (LWO, OBJ or glTF)
• Corresponding UV map file(s) and snapshot
• Brief note outlining any OpenSCAD parametric pieces you created and how they integrate

I review daily, give concise feedback, and aim to wrap this within a week once we kick off. If you have recent examples of similar mid-poly characters—especially those that moved through LightWave or OpenSCAD workflows—please send a link or small preview in your bid.
