Set Up Openclaw on AWS
Budget: $2 – $8 CAD
I have an AWS account ready and I want a clean, reproducible deployment of the Openclaw workflow on an EC2 instance running Windows Server 2022. Your task is to spin up the instance, install and configure every dependency Openclaw needs, wire any required AWS-side networking or storage, and prove that the full workflow executes end-to-end without errors.
Please base everything on a single EC2 host—no EKS, EMR, or other managed services—so the stack stays simple for future maintenance. I’ll supply the AWS credentials; you handle instance sizing, security group rules, domain or static IP setup if the stack needs inbound access, and any Windows-level tuning.
Once the workflow is live, run a representative job to show that Openclaw processes correctly, capture logs, and hand me concise documentation so I can recreate the build from scratch or restore it after updates.
Deliverables:
• Deployed Windows Server 2022 EC2 instance with Openclaw fully configured
• Verified successful execution of a sample Openclaw workflow (screenshots or log excerpts)
• Step-by-step build notes and any scripts/PowerShell commands used
• Brief handover call or recorded walkthrough covering start, stop, and restart procedures
I’m looking for a quick turnaround, clear explanations, and a solution taht can be managed once it’s in place.
Jobs:
1. Setup Openclaw
2. Install the workflow skills to create the following:
AI Call Answering for New Leads – Services Co.
Purpose: answer inbound calls when staff are busy.
Step by step
• Customer calls the company line.
• OpenClaw answers with a branded greeting.
• OpenClaw asks what service is needed.
• OpenClaw answers questions about services (bot is fed the company plan/overview with pricing tiers).
• OpenClaw asks if a 15 minute call would be desired
• OpenClaw captures name, phone, email address, and urgency.
• OpenClaw books an appointment, looking at Google Calendar, suggesting 3 possible times, across 2 days. When client chooses day/time, the appointment is registered in GCal.
• OpenClaw routes emergency calls differently if needed.
• OpenClaw logs the call details in the CRM. <not identified at this time – do you have a suggestion?>
• OpenClaw emails the call transcript to company designated person.
• OpenClaw sends a confirmation SMS to caller after the call.
3. This is being setup as a sales tool to begin selling solutions to over 1,000 existing clients. Once it is setup and running you will be contracted for the following:
a) initial setup of workflow instances.
b) establishing a "system check alarm" that notifies several including yourself if a process goes down.
c) maintenance regularly.
This is an initial "show me what you can do" contract. However for the candidates who are good, who get the work done and demonstrate competency, we will be engaging in ongoing work.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND: WE ARE HIRING THIS OUT -- WE HAVE ALREADY DONE THIS SEVERAL TIMES BUT WE WANT TO SPEND OUR TIME WITH CLIENTS, SELLING THE SOLUTION. So.... keep your estimates real... we know how long it takes to setup Openclaw on AWS EC2... Have done it a dozen times (14 actually), and we have also built out this solution already, tested it and know how long it takes to drop a skill.md file, the key/api and test it (a few minutes.... maybe 10 tops).
Reference: our last setup of this exact solution took us 2.5 hours....
1. No "2 hours to setup AWS EC2 & install OpenClaw" nonsense please...
2. we pay fair, but are not silly... if there is extra work needed, we'll pay over and above initial contract feel.
3. We know what it is like to be a contractor so expect to pay more time than we would take... just be reasonable.
Thank you
