OpenCart specialist / Theme / Data catalogue import

Job ID: 31788670

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

We are immediately looking for a freelancer who specializes in OpenCart. It is therefore important that you have extensive experience with OpenCart. Otherwise don't respond. In your response, also give a number of examples of OpenCart webshops in which you have been involved. Experience with importing assortments from Excel is an advantage for you.

The assignment consists of the following steps:

1. On www.gemalde.de there is a basic OpenCart webshop. Version 3.0.3.7. This is completely finished and configured with all kinds of extensions etc.. An excellent basis. However, no theme is installed on it yet.

2. We want this webshop (Gemalde.de) to be copied / moved to domain and hosting on www.schildererijenstore.nl
The current webshop on www.schildererijenstore.nl can be completely removed. After the move, parts will probably have to be configured because the domain / hosting etc.. has changed. The first goal is successful relocation and configuration to www.schildererijenstore.nl.
3. After the move and configuration is in order and completed to www.schilderijenstore.nl I want you to install and configure a theme. The theme is https://opencart.opencartworks.com/themes/so_emarket/webkul_marketplace/
This theme is an OpenCart theme with a marketplace module. In addition to our own products, we also want to let third parties sell paintings on www.schildererijenstore.nl. The theme is for sale on Themeforest. If there are bugs, the theme seller can be contacted. But we want the purchased theme to work well and to be bug-free on www.schildererijenstore.nl, so that everything works well and looks good.

4. Once the theme is working perfectly and installed, we want you to import a product. I have an Excel file with 8000 products spread over 30000 lines. The import itself is best started with a smaller test import. So that we can see that everything is imported properly. Important are all product fields, categories (subcategories) and options, etc. In the Excel file are therefore products that have different dimensions but are otherwise identical. As you know, OpenCart works with options (different sizes) that work with an additional cost compared to the base price. In the Excel file, however, there is a final amount behind each different size, so no extra charge for a larger size. So you will have to convert this. The final prices on the website will also have to be rounded. So the prices incl. VAT 21% Dutch VAT must be neatly rounded to, for example, .95. You will also have to take this into account.

After interest we can discuss further and discuss the import file etc..
