Chinese Healthcare Ontology Localization

Job ID: 39789205

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I need the terminology and core concept labels in an existing English-language healthcare ontology translated into standard Mainland Chinese so the model can be reused in an interoperable research setting. Class and property identifiers must remain intact; only human-readable rdfs:label, skos:prefLabel, and any embedded textual definitions are to change. All structural relationships, IRIs, and metadata that are not explicitly requested for localization must be left untouched.

The source file is an OWL/RDF schema that currently opens cleanly in Protégé. Please carry out the translation directly in the ontology (or supply a perfectly aligned .rdf/.owl file) and include a bilingual mapping sheet that lists every modified label side-by-side with its Chinese counterpart for quick review.

Acceptance criteria
• Every term and concept chosen for localization appears in accurate, domain-appropriate Chinese.
• No class, property, or IRI is renamed or deleted.
• The final ontology loads without errors in Protégé 5.x and passes the built-in reasoner without new inconsistencies.

If you work with specialised tools such as OntoRefine, SKOS-XL, or command-line RDF libraries, feel free to integrate them—just note any tooling choices in the mapping sheet so future curators can reproduce the workflow.
