Realistic Family Oil Portrait
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I have a collection of reference photos of my family and would like them transformed into a single, realistic oil painting on canvas. The composition should place us against a scenic landscape in one of the photos —think bluebell wood.
I will share several high-resolution images (the main one is attached) so you can capture accurate likenesses and the right mood. I would like to make the following adjustments to the photo:
- add my daughter to the photo;
- centralised the dog;
- remove the sunglasses on the two older members
- remove the lady in the black jacket top left of the photo.
Before you begin with oils, a quick preliminary sketch or digital mock-up for composition approval would be helpful. Once we agree on the layout, please work traditionally in oil and keep me updated with a couple of progress shots so any fine-tuning can happen early.
Deliverables:
• One finished, ready-to-hang oil painting on canvas (size to be confirmed together)
• At least two progress photos during the painting process
• A final photo of the completed piece for my records before shipping
If you have questions about proportions, lighting, or canvas size recommendations, let me know and we can decide together. I’m excited to see how you bring our family to life with your brushwork.
