Portrait Commission - British Regency Style
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm seeking a skilled artist to create an "oil painting" portrait of an individual, inspired by the British Regency period. This is a work-made-for-hire contract, meaning all rights to the artwork will be transferred to me upon completion.
Your task will be to capture the likeness of the subject based on photographs I will provide, with the style being influenced by sample portraits I will also share.
Key aspects of the project:
- You may use physical and/or digital "painting" techniques to create the portrait.
- Including any requested revisions, the final image must be delivered in a high resolution digital format within 7 calendar days after award.
- The provided subject photographs will not match the expected pose, posture, lighting, attire, etc. of the final portrait. They will be solely intended for indicating the likeness of the subject.
- The final portrait will be a work-made-for-hire, and you'll be required to sign a contract stating that ownership of the portrait and all related rights shall belong exclusively to me.
Ideal artist will have:
- Ability to create portraiture, particularly in the style of oil paintings.
- Excellent skills in capturing likeness from photographs.
- Excellent skills in incorporating period styles (attire, hair, backgrounds, etc.)
- Ability to work under a work-made-for-hire contract and meet tight deadlines.
