I’m commissioning a large-scale impressionist portrait in oil, no smaller than 24 inches on its shortest side. I will send a photo (or multiple if desired) of what I'm looking for.
Please work on stretched, gallery-wrapped canvas so the piece arrives ready to frame. I’m after lively, visible brushwork and a soft atmospheric palette that feels authentically Impressionist rather than photorealistic, potentially using impasto technique.
Deliverables
• One original oil painting, minimum 24" × 24", signed and varnished
• Two or three progress snapshots for approval of composition and tonal balance
• Final piece safely packaged, insured, and shipped with tracking information
The project is complete when the finished canvas reaches me undamaged and consistent with the approved progress images. Let me know your typical timeline, your preferred oil brands or mediums if relevant, and how you handle drying time before varnish and dispatch.
