Repair Corrupted PowerPoint File

Job ID: 40285541

Budget: £10 – £20 GBP

My 5.91 MB PowerPoint 365 deck (Windows 11) suddenly refuses to open. The presentation is 125 slides of photos and short video clips that I use when speaking to senior groups about the dramatic changes they have witnessed—from black-and-white TV to AI. I suspect two or three slides contain damaged media that now block the file from loading.

I need you to:
• Force-open or extract the current .pptx, locate the faulty images or videos, and remove or replace them.
• Return a clean .pptx that launches normally in PowerPoint 365 with every remaining slide intact and playable.

I do have older backups, but they show the same error, so this copy is the one to work on. No redesign or content editing is required—just a functional file I can open and present.

Please outline briefly how you would tackle the repair (e.g., ZIP extraction, XML edit, Safe Mode, media isolation) and your expected turnaround time.
