Production Orders
Once a sales order is confirmed, the system must automatically create as many POs as there are products in the order.
This PO must be able to include all the attributes or variants of a product in the same PO and NOT create a PO for each variant or attribute.
In the PO we have to take into account that the product will have different sizes or colors and it is possible that each attribute or variant (sizes or colors) has its own bill of materials. All variants will always have the same operations.
There are different types of Work Orders that can be dependent on each other:
These types of Work Orders are classified according to work center or operation and phase.
1. Cutting (cutting order)
2. Manufacturing (production order)
3. Finishing (finishing order)
4. Handling (handling order)
Each type of Work Order must be able to validate the number of units before moving on to the next Work Order, and the next Work Order must indicate the number of units to be produced according to the previous Work Order.
The product is already defined with the operations necessary to carry out that production with the work centers that affect that production.
Some of the phases may be subcontracted and must be able to simultaneously generate a budget request in “purchases” for each Work Order and request the components for that order.
Each Work Order must be able to be exported in PDF format.
