Project Overview

We have:

A fully built Odoo backend
Complete Figma designs
A clear product specification
We require an Odoo frontend developer to implement the approved designs as a production-ready Odoo eCommerce theme.

This is a frontend-only implementation role.
Scope of Work
Frontend Theme Implementation
Implement Figma designs using Odoo website theming.

Develop or customise an Odoo theme using:
QWeb templates
Odoo website assets (CSS/SCSS, JS)
Ensure pixel-accurate implementation of approved designs.

Maintain clean, upgrade-safe customisations.
Storefront Pages
Homepage
Product listing/category pages
Product detail pages (PDP)
Cart and checkout
Customer account pages
Standard CMS/content pages
possibly more

Responsive Behaviour
Implement responsive layouts exactly as defined in Figma.
Ensure consistent behaviour across desktop, tablet, and mobile.

Frontend Interactions
Implement frontend behaviour as per specification (filters, UI states, interactions).
Respect existing backend logic and flows (no backend changes required).
Performance & SEO (Frontend Only)
Optimise frontend assets (bundling, lazy loading, images).
Ensure correct semantic HTML, headings, and metadata handling.
No SEO strategy or content work required—implementation only.

UX or visual design
Backend Odoo development
ERP configuration
Product logic, pricing, payments, tax, or shipping
Data migration
Infrastructure or hosting

Deliverables
Custom Odoo theme committed to the codebase
QWeb templates for all agreed storefront pages
Frontend assets (CSS/SCSS/JS)
Cross-browser and responsive validation
Short technical handover (theme structure and customisations)

Required Experience
Proven experience with Odoo Website & eCommerce frontend development
Strong knowledge of:
QWeb templating
Odoo website theming and assets
Odoo eCommerce storefront structure
Ability to implement designs from Figma to Odoo accurately
Experience working against a fixed backend and specification
