Odoo 18.4 + WordPress (Bookly) API Integration Developer Needed
We are looking for an experienced Odoo 18.4 + WordPress developer to build a simple, stable and real-time integration between our online booking system (Bookly) and our ERP (Odoo 18.4).
The goal:
Whenever a customer books an appointment on our website (Bookly), the booking must automatically create a Customer, a Sales Order, and optionally a Calendar Event inside Odoo.
This is a one-way integration: Bookly → Odoo 18.4.
Project Requirements
1. Create/Update Customer in Odoo (res.partner)
When a booking is confirmed in Bookly:
Full name
Phone
Email
If the customer already exists (same email or phone), update instead of duplicating.
2. Create Sales Order (sale.order) in Odoo
Each booking must generate a Sales Order with:
Linked Customer
Service booked (mapped from Bookly → Odoo product)
Price from Odoo product
Booking date/time
Notes and location (branch)
Order status on creation: quotation or confirmed sale (to be discussed).
3. Optional: Create Calendar Event (calendar.event)
Customer linked
Start/End time
Service name
Reference to the Sales Order
4. Staff Workflow (Important)
Our staff must manage bookings and daily cash closing directly in Odoo, not in WordPress.
Your integration must allow:
Staff to view daily Sales Orders (bookings)
Register payments (cash, card, etc.)
Perform daily cash closing in Odoo
(Using Sales + Accounting or POS, depending on your recommendation.)
Technical Requirements
Use Bookly hooks/webhooks to trigger sync on booking confirmation.
Use Odoo 18.4 API (JSON-RPC or REST).
Clean code: PHP on WordPress, Python module on Odoo.
Error handling and logging for failed syncs.
Respect timezone (Spain).
Deliverables
Fully working integration in staging.
Deployment to production without downtime.
Clean and maintainable code (WordPress + Odoo module).
