Odoo 14-19 Upgrade & Migration
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
My production system is currently on Odoo 14 and I’m ready to move everything to Odoo 19 on a new VPS. The job covers three main areas: server preparation, full data migration, and porting 4–5 custom modules.
Data scope
All user records, sales and invoice history, product and inventory details, contacts, website assets—every business-critical table has to arrive intact on the new instance with relationships preserved.
Custom code
The move includes our Inventory Management, CRM, Accounting, Sales, plus one small bespoke module. Each must be refactored where APIs have changed, installed, and verified in Odoo 19 without breaking core workflows.
Environment
Fresh VPS (root SSH available). You’ll handle Debian/Ubuntu dependencies, PostgreSQL setup, Python libraries, and the Odoo 19 deployment itself.
Deliverables
• VPS configured and secured
• Odoo 19 running and reachable via domain/SSL
• Database migrated and validated (no missing or duplicated records)
• All custom modules upgraded, installed, and tested end-to-end
• Brief hand-over document covering what was changed and how to maintain/extend the build
Acceptance criteria
Migration scripts complete without errors, module functionality matches current production, and sample transactions post correctly in the new system.
If you’ve done cross-version Odoo jumps, especially 14→19, this should be straightforward. I can schedule brief downtime for the final switchover; otherwise the move needs to stay invisible to users.
