Odoo Product Import & Setup
Budget: ₹400 – ₹750 INR
I’m preparing a new Odoo 16 instance for my wholesale-and-retail store ― surgical supplies, hospital goods, and baby products ― and I need a specialist who can take a large catalogue sitting on our current website and recreate it flawlessly in Odoo.
Here is what the assignment looks like from my side:
• I can export the full catalogue from the old site as CSV.
• The file contains every attribute we track (SKU, price, stock, weight, description, image links, etc.).
• Around 40 % of the items also have size or colour variations that must become product variants.
Your job is to map that CSV into Odoo, set up the appropriate product types, and organise everything into clear categories and sub-categories so it appears neatly on the eCommerce front-end and flows into Inventory without errors.
Once the base import is clean, I need the website product pages looking retail-ready with images, prices, stock levels, and any variant selectors. If you see gaps in the data (for example missing weights or duplicate SKUs) flag them so I can correct them quickly.
The outcome I expect:
• All products visible and searchable on the Odoo website
• Accurate inventory levels reflected in the Inventory module
• Variants working with correct attributes
• Category tree that matches my current storefront navigation
• No import warnings or data mismatches when I run valuation reports
Please send a brief note that highlights similar Odoo eCommerce + Inventory projects you have completed, an estimated cost, and how long you’d need to deliver the first full import. If you have scripts or techniques for handling very large CSVs, mention that too.
Let me know any questions you have about the dataset or the existing site export and I’ll share sample rows right away.
