Odoo 18 Inventory Transition
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
We are migrating our production flow in Odoo v18 from a pure “make-to-order” model to a true pull-from-stock strategy. My priority is to cut lead times, and to do that I have to get three things right: clean, conversion-ready BOMs; accurate mapping of every item’s location and routing; and well-calculated inventory setpoints that trigger replenishment automatically.
Here is what I need from you:
• Re-engineer all existing BOMs so they support a pull-based workflow without breaking current product configurations.
• Map every SKU in Odoo to the correct warehouse location, route, and rule, replacing any “manufacture” routes that no longer apply.
• Establish min/max setpoints and reorder rules that reflect real demand, seasonality, and safety stock targets.
• Walk me through each step in live or recorded sessions so I learn how to maintain the data myself after the project ends.
I already run the latest Odoo 18 Enterprise modules for Manufacturing and Inventory, so you can take full advantage of reordering rules, multi-step routes, and flexible BOM versions. If you like working hands-on in Studio or using import templates, even better—show me your approach while you work.
By project close I expect:
– Clean BOM list with version history documented
– Inventory routes and rules tested and active in a staging database, then moved to production
– Setpoints validated against at least one full purchasing cycle
– A short guide or recording summarizing the process for future reference
If you have deep Odoo 18 experience and enjoy teaching while doing, let’s get started.
