Odoo Implementation QA & Technical Coordination
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
Job Title: Technical Project Coordinator — Odoo Implementation QA
Overview:
We are an IT/telecom company in the Caribbean managing an ongoing Odoo ERP implementation project for a retail client. We need a remote coordinator to sit between our client and our development team — triaging issues, ensuring quality before delivery, and keeping the project moving without requiring owner involvement.
What You'll Do:
• Receive tickets and bug reports from the client
• Analyze and document each issue clearly before passing to the dev team
• Monitor dev team responses and track resolution progress
• Test and verify fixes before they go back to the client — you are the quality gate
• Communicate clearly with the client when a fix is ready and verified
• Flag anything that needs escalation to the project owner
• Keep the ticket tracker (Odoo helpdesk) updated at all times
What You Need:
• Experience with Odoo (any version — ERP modules like POS, Accounting, Payroll a big plus)
• Strong QA or testing mindset — you catch bugs others miss
• Clear written English — client-facing communication matters
• Experience managing tickets or working with a dev team in a support/PM capacity
• Self-directed — you don't need hand-holding to stay on top of open items
• Available to overlap with AST (Atlantic Standard Time, UTC-4) for at least 4 hours/day
Nice to Have:
• Background in IT project management or software QA
• Familiarity with helpdesk workflows
(Odoo, Freshdesk, Jira, etc.)
• Experience with ERP implementations (especially Odoo 18/19)
Engagement:
• Part-time to start (10-20 hrs/week)
• Remote / async-friendly
• Fixed hourly or milestone-based — open to discussion Ongoing if it works out
To Apply:
Tell us about a time you caught a bug or issue that the dev team missed. What was it, and how did you handle it?
