Odoo Dynamic Webpage Setup
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I am looking to connect an existing Odoo Spreadsheet to a new page in the Odoo Website module so that a range of training courses appear dynamically based on filtering conditions
- every row will have feilds such as: Training course, Short Description, Long Description, Trainer details, Audience, image, delivery date, status , category etc
- The display with be both a 'summary' product card and a detail product card with different information displayed in each
Adding a new row, would automatically add new product cards and when I update the spreadsheet, the website should refresh in real time (or with a simple page reload) without manual copy-pasting.
Key features I need in place:
• Data source: the Odoo Spreadsheet already lives in the same database and contains all product fields, including a column that labels each item by Product type.
• Display: the page must show the product image, name, and a concise product description pulled straight from the sheet. No other content types are required for now.
• Filtering: visitors should be able to narrow results by Product type using a clean sidebar filter (or similar). The filter must regenerate the list dynamically rather than loading a new static page.
• Maintenance: once the framework is in place, non-technical staff should be able to add or edit rows in the spreadsheet and see those changes reflected online instantly.
I’m comfortable giving you Studio access along with the relevant models. You may rely on native Odoo Website, QWeb, and Js widgets, or introduce a lightweight custom module if that’s the cleaner route. Either way, the final deliverable should be:
1. A working webpage accessible from the main menu.
2. Sidebar filter fully wired to the Product type column.
3. Brief notes (or inline comments) explaining where to adjust the layout and which spreadsheet fields are mapped, so my team can extend it later.
If you’ve tackled similar dynamic pages inside Odoo before—especially leveraging Spreadsheet as the data layer—please let me know; that experience will be invaluable here.
We have a tight delivery window for this project so can only consdier people who can show like for like experience in their response -
