Odoo Customization Specialist Needed
Budget: $15 – $25 CAD
I'm seeking an experienced Odoo expert!
We are Water Tech Plumbing & Heating, a Calgary-based mechanical contracting company specializing in multifamily, high-rise, and commercial projects. We are looking for an Odoo ERP expert to configure and implement Odoo for our operations.
The goal is to centralize and streamline our processes from tender to warranty service, replacing our current mix of spreadsheets and disconnected tools.
Scope of Work:
Modules to Configure:
CRM (tender tracking, GC contacts, follow-ups)
Sales (quotes, contracts, scope templates)
Project Management (stages, tasks, scheduling)
Purchase (material requests, PO approvals)
Inventory (stock control for warehouse & site)
Accounting (progress billing, retention, receivables)
Timesheets (crew hours, payroll sync)
Field Service (warranty calls, service tracking)
Documents (drawings, submittals)
Customization:
Add custom fields for project type, scope, GC contact, bid deadlines, retention %
Automate workflows (e.g., tender → project creation → purchase requests)
Configure PO approval rules and progress billing
Reports Setup:
Tender pipeline, project profitability, PO summary, material usage, crew productivity, aged receivables, warranty tracker
Integration:
Email & document storage sync (Google/Outlook/SharePoint)
WhatsApp notifications for site leads (optional)
Deliverables:
Fully configured Odoo environment with our business-specific workflows
User roles and permissions for different team members (Estimator, Foreman, Admin, Warehouse, Accounting)
Training sessions for our team (role-based)
Post-go-live support for 4–6 weeks
Requirements:
Proven Odoo implementation experience (construction/trades experience a plus)
Ability to suggest best practices for mechanical contracting workflows
Strong communication skills
Available to start immediately and deliver in 4–6 weeks
