Odoo Backup Restoration Setup
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a complete Odoo backup that consists of the core odoo folder, the addons and enterprise folders, plus a full database dump (.sql). I need everything brought back to life on a fresh server.
Preferred target
• I’m open to whichever option proves most reliable—either a clean Ubuntu 22.04 VPS or Odoo SH. Please assess both paths and proceed with the one you consider feasible.
Scope of work
1. Provision the chosen environment (Ubuntu 22.04 VPS or Odoo SH) and install the matching Odoo version.
2. Restore the database from the provided .sql dump.
3. Deploy my custom addons; only installation is required at this stage—no troubleshooting or ongoing updates.
4. Verify that the system boots without errors, core and custom modules load, and users can log in and navigate key menus.
Important notes
• I don’t have documentation for the custom addons, so clear logging and concise notes on any manual tweaks are essential.
• Keep original folder structure and file permissions intact during transfer.
• After hand-over, provide a brief outline of the steps taken so I can replicate the process if needed.
If you have solid experience rescuing Odoo instances and can move quickly, I’d love to hear how you would tackle this.
