N8n–Odoo Accounting Sync Automation
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need my existing Odoo Accounting instance to talk seamlessly with N8n so invoices and payments flow both ways without manual touch-points. The goal is twofold: first, to automate routine accounting workflows that now take up valuable time; second, to keep data perfectly synchronized, eliminating mismatches between platforms.
Here is what I expect at the end of the engagement:
• An N8n workflow (or set of workflows) that authenticates to Odoo and pushes/pulls Invoice and Payment records in real-time or on a defined schedule.
• Accurate field mapping so every status change in one system is instantly reflected in the other.
• Basic error-handling inside N8n—failed calls should retry and alert me instead of silently dying.
• Clear, step-by-step notes on how the integration is configured, so I can extend or clone it later.
Acceptance criteria
1. Creating, updating, or posting an invoice or payment inside Odoo immediately triggers the corresponding update through N8n and vice versa.
2. A simple test run proves that no duplicate records are produced after multiple sync cycles.
3. All configuration is delivered in an exportable N8n JSON file and works after import into a fresh N8n instance.
If you are comfortable with Odoo’s API, webhooks, and N8n HTTP / OAuth nodes, you will find the task straightforward. I will supply the necessary credentials and a staging environment for safe testing once we agree on the approach.
