Odoo Accounting Setup Verification – Kerala Based Accountant

We are looking for an experienced accountant based in Kerala, India with knowledge of Odoo Accounting (preferably Odoo 19) to review and verify our company accounting configuration.

Our business is an e-commerce brand (Bowkart) selling baby clothing online through Shopify, integrated with Odoo for accounting and inventory management.

Scope of Work

The selected accountant will:

• Review the current Odoo company accounting configuration
• Verify Chart of Accounts setup
• Check Inventory valuation configuration (stock valuation, COGS, GRNI)
• Verify journal configuration (sales, purchase, bank, inventory journals)
• Ensure opening stock and inventory valuation reflect correctly in the balance sheet
• Review tax configuration (GST 5%)
• Verify product category accounting setup
• Check if Shopify stock integration affects accounting entries
• Provide recommendations to ensure correct financial reporting

Requirements

• Accountant based in Kerala (preferred)
• Experience with Odoo Accounting system
• Knowledge of inventory accounting and GST
• Ability to review configuration through remote session (Zoom / Google Meet)
• Provide clear guidance and corrections if configuration is incorrect
