Odoo Accounting & Payroll Bug Fix
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need an experienced Odoo developer to dive into my live installation and remove a series of annoying bugs inside the Accounting and Payroll modules. The core platform works, but certain journal entries won’t post correctly and a few payroll calculations occasionally throw tracebacks.
Your task is to identify the root cause of these errors in the existing code base, correct them with clean, upgrade-safe Python and XML, and hand back a solution that leaves the standard Odoo logic intact.
Deliverables
• Detailed diagnosis and documented fix for every reported Accounting or Payroll error
• Any adjusted models, views, or server actions packaged as a proper custom module so future upgrades remain smooth
• A concise changelog and short user note explaining what changed and how to test it
I will give you access to a staging copy, functional specs of the issues we face, and git access for commits. Once the fixes pass user testing on staging, we’ll deploy to production together. If you know your way around Odoo’s ORM, QWeb, and typical Accounting/Payroll workflows, I’d like to start right away.
