Odoo 13 API Import Fix

I have a custom routine that pulls jewellery product details into our Odoo 13 instance through an external API. The moment the import starts it crashes, so none of the new items ever make it into the database. The problem is isolated to the data-import step; once records are in the system everything behaves normally.

The job is straightforward: trace the root cause inside our current Python module, correct whatever is breaking the import of product details, and prove that a full batch can be processed without errors. I will provide you with:

• Access to a staging copy of the Odoo 13 database
• The existing import script and any related custom modules
• Sample API payloads for several jewellery SKUs

Deliverables
• Repaired code (or well-commented override) that runs cleanly on Odoo 13
• A short note summarising the fix and any configuration changes
• Confirmation screenshot or log showing a successful import of at least one full test file

No upgrade is planned, so the solution must stay compatible with Odoo 13. If you need extra libraries, keep them lightweight and standard for an on-premise deployment.
