Migrate Flexible BOM to v18

I need the “Fanatics Flexible BOM” module (link: https://apps.odoo.com/apps/modules/17.0/fanatics_flexible_bom) fully ported from Odoo 17 to Odoo 18. The add-on is unchanged from the marketplace version, so you’ll be working with a clean code base—no custom hacks or third-party glue to untangle.

My biggest concern is preserving seamless compatibility with other standard and popular community modules once it runs on 18. Performance, dependencies, and upgrade safety all have to feel native.

Beyond a straight conversion I’m open to a brief consultation on potential improvements that might make sense in v18, but only if they don’t slow down delivery of the working port.

Deliverable:
• A ready-to-install Odoo 18 module package, lint-clean, migration scripts (if any), and a short README explaining changes and test steps.

Please confirm how you plan to tackle compatibility testing and roughly how long you expect the migration to take once you have access to the code.
