Experienced Accountant with Odoo ERP Expertise
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong hands-on expertise in Odoo ERP (Accounting/Finance modules). The role involves managing end-to-end accounting functions, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, preparing financial reports, and leveraging Odoo ERP to streamline and automate finance operations.
The ideal candidate should have both core accounting knowledge and practical ERP experience, capable of customizing workflows, generating accurate reports, and supporting management in decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Finance
Manage day-to-day accounting operations (AP/AR, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation, Expense Tracking).
Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings, etc.).
Handle payroll accounting and employee reimbursement entries.
Assist in budgeting, cash flow management, and forecasting.
Odoo ERP (Accounting Module)
Manage and maintain accounting workflows within Odoo ERP.
Configure, customize, and optimize Odoo Accounting features (chart of accounts, journal entries, multi-currency, invoicing, payments).
Automate accounting processes such as bank feed integration, recurring entries, and reconciliation.
Generate financial, MIS, and management reports directly from Odoo.
Collaborate with internal teams and Odoo developers for system improvements and troubleshooting.
Audit & Compliance
Support statutory and internal audits by providing accurate records.
Ensure accounting records align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/ICWA/Inter CA preferred but not mandatory).
Proven experience (2–5 years) as an Accountant.
Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (Accounting/Finance module is a must).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance.
Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.
Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and present reports.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
Experience with other ERP/accounting systems (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
Knowledge of multi-company and multi-currency accounting in Odoo.
Understanding of inventory, sales, and purchase integration with accounting in Odoo.
Exposure to financial planning, analysis, and MIS reporting.
