Firebase Auth & Security Upgrade
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
My Firebase project has hit a wall with Google’s latest security review. The hold-up is entirely on the authentication side. At the moment the app signs users in exclusively through Google (social login), and the platform is flagging gaps that must be closed before it will allow a new release.
Here is what I need from you:
• Inspect the existing authentication code and console settings, identifying every item that violates Google’s current security checklist for Firebase projects.
• Replace code with newly written code.
• Bring the implementation up to full OAuth 2.0 compliance, add any multi-factor or encryption measures Google now enforces, and confirm all Firebase Authentication rules match best practice.
• Verify the fixes in both the codebase and the Firebase console, push the update, and publish the new build so it passes Google’s automated and manual checks without warnings.
Once the green light appears in the Firebase dashboard and the app is live again, the job is done.
