Firebase App – Gmail API Integration & Deployment

Hi there,

I have built a functional Firebase-based web application that I am giving away to the Real Estate agents for free, and now I am looking to take it to the next level. I need someone who’s experienced with both Firebase and the Gmail API to help me integrate Gmail into the app, so users can send emails directly from their own Gmail accounts, and those emails will appear in their actual Gmail "Sent" folder (as if sent from Gmail itself).

This isn’t just about sending emails using some shared server and it needs to use OAuth authentication per user, and ensure Gmail’s own security/compliance standards are met.

What I Need Help With:
1) Gmail API Integration
-- Connect Gmail API to my existing Firebase app
-- Ensure OAuth 2.0 flow is set up per user (not app-level)
-- Emails should show in the user’s Gmail “Sent” folder
-- Maintain Gmail API quota/best practices

2) App Deployment
-- Package and deploy the app publicly (Firebase Hosting or suggestions welcome)
-- Set up everything needed for the app to go live

Ideal Candidate:
-- Solid experience with Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Hosting, Functions)
-- Strong understanding of Gmail API (OAuth 2.0, scopes, tokens, sending email via Gmail)
-- Good eye for design and comfortable with modern CSS / front-end styling
-- Able to deploy and document the app for public use

Deliverables:
-- Fully working Gmail API integration with user authentication
-- Deployed app (publicly accessible)
-- Brief documentation on how the Gmail API flow is structured and deployed
