About BetAI
BetAI is an AI-powered sports analytics platform. We're growing fast across social platforms and need a sharp developer to build our social follow-gate system.

The Project
Build two follow-gate flows, delivered as two separately paid milestones. Both gates intercept the user before an AI answer is revealed and require a verified social follow to unlock it.

MILESTONE 1 — X (Twitter) Follow-Gate at Question 2
Timeline: 2-3 Days
Deliverables:
1. Modal/interstitial displayed after user submits their 2nd question
2. X OAuth 2.0 + PKCE flow (secure — no tokens exposed to client)
3. Backend verification via X API v2 that user follows @BetAIplatform
4. Server-side answer holding (DB flag: locked/unlocked per user)
5. Edge cases: window close, abandonment, already-following, API errors, rate limits

MILESTONE 2 — TikTok Follow-Gate at Question 7
Timeline: 1-3 Days | Begins after M1 is approved
Deliverables:
1. Question counter logic detecting when user reaches Q7
2. TikTok Login Kit OAuth flow — authenticate and verify user follow
3. Backend endpoint verifying follow of BetAI TikTok account
4. Persistent DB flag (TikTok follow verified — survives sessions and devices)
5. Reuses M1 modal pattern and server-side answer holding architecture
6. Edge cases: abandonment, unfollow before verification, TikTok API errors

Requirements (Both Milestones)
• Proven X API v2 OAuth 2.0 experience — REQUIRED, must show prior work
• TikTok Login Kit / TikTok API integration experience — REQUIRED for Milestone 2
• React or Next.js (or ability to integrate with existing WordPress/JS stack)
• Node.js or PHP backend (WordPress environment)
• Strong OAuth security fundamentals — no tokens in client
• Available to start immediately
