Optim.ai GreenIMPACT Calculator MVP (4 weeks)

The Optim.ai Environmental Impact Digital Calculator project aims to develop a user-friendly digital tool that quantifies the environmental footprint of AI systems throughout their lifecycle. This calculator will measure both negative impacts (e.g., energy use, water consumption, emissions, and e-waste) and positive contributions (e.g., resource savings from AI applications in other sectors) using standardized metrics. By adhering to international sustainability standards, such as ISO and GHG Protocol, this tool will support AI developers, sustainability managers, and organizations in understanding and offsetting their AI systems’ ecological footprint.
