Notion Life Operating System Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Custom Notion Life Operating System (5 Pillars + Dashboards + Tracking)
---
I’m looking for an experienced Notion specialist to design and build a custom Life Operating System in Notion.
This system will be used daily and must be **clean, intuitive, low-friction, and scalable**. The goal is to track my life across five core pillars, with both micro-level execution** and **macro-level visibility**.
---
## **Core Structure Requirements**
### **Five Pillar Databases**
Create **five separate databases**, one for each pillar:
1. Spiritual
2. Intellectual
3. Social
4. Wellbeing
5. Financial
Each pillar database should function independently **and** roll up into a unified system.
---
### **Micro-Dashboard (per Pillar)**
Each pillar must have its own **dedicated dashboard** that includes:
1. **To-Do / Action List**
* Tasks related specifically to that pillar
* Status (Inbox / Next / Scheduled / Completed)
* Optional due dates
2. **Notes / Knowledge Database**
* Freeform notes, reflections, learning, ideas
* Easily linked to tasks or habits if needed
3. **Habit Tracking Section**
* Recurring habits specific to the pillar
* Simple daily/weekly check-off system
* Designed to minimize friction
4. **Pillar Score / Rating**
* A clear visual indicator (probably a number rating visually represented in a circle)
* Represents how well I’m doing in that pillar *right now*
* Probably based on:
* Habit completion (consistency over time)
* Task completion (tasks completed, timeliness)
* Optional manual adjustment
Each micro-dashboard should be **clean, readable, and usable on desktop, tablet, and mobile**.
---
### **Main / Master Dashboard**
Create a **single top-level dashboard** that shows a **simplified composite view** of all five pillars.
This dashboard should include:
* **At-a-glance status for all 5 pillars**
* Each pillar’s current **score / rating**
* A short list of:
* Today’s most important tasks
* Quick navigation links to each pillar’s micro-dashboard
This dashboard should answer the question:
> “How am I doing overall, and where should my attention go next?”
---
## **Design & UX Requirements**
* Clean, minimal, and distraction-free
* Fast to use (very low “setup friction”)
* Easy to understand at a glance
* Optimized for **daily use**
* No unnecessary complexity or overengineering
---
## **Nice-to-Have (Optional, Not Required)**
* Suggestions for how to calculate pillar scores effectively
* Simple automation ideas using native Notion features
* Mobile-friendly layouts or widgets
* Clear naming conventions and documentation
---
## **Deliverables**
* Fully built Notion workspace
* All databases properly related/linked
* Dashboards fully functional
* Brief walkthrough or explanation of how to use and maintain the system
---
## **Ideal Freelancer**
* Strong experience building **Notion dashboards and databases**
* Understands personal productivity systems
* Thinks in systems, not just pages
* Values simplicity, clarity, and usability
---
If you’ve built **life OS, productivity dashboards, or habit-tracking systems in Notion**, I’d love to see examples.
