Film Score Research & Notion Migration

I’m building an interconnected Notion workspace that tracks film scores, the people behind them, and the theory that makes their key themes memorable. Your main mission is to populate these databases with rigorously sourced information, then link the records so that a reader can jump seamlessly from a melody analysis to the composer’s biography and back to the score’s historical backdrop.

Here’s what the job involves:

• Historical context first. For every score you research, I need a concise yet insightful narrative of when and why it was written, how it fit the film’s production, and what was happening in the wider musical landscape at the time.
• Complete composer profiles. Each entry must include name, birth date and place, career milestones, major films, and a high-resolution image that is cleared for use.
• Theory deep-dive. Document the techniques used in the score, break down memorable melodies and motifs, and give a harmonic / structural overview that a musician could follow.
• Notion migration. I’ll grant access to more than a dozen linked databases (Composers, Scores, Themes, Techniques, Articles, etc.). After gathering the data, you will manually input and cross-reference every piece so that relation fields, roll-ups, and gallery covers all line up.

I prefer researchers who already love talking about movies and music, and who are comfortable running advanced LLM searches to uncover obscure interviews, liner-notes, or academic papers. Accuracy is critical: please cite sources in a small footnote field inside Notion and flag anything that can’t be verified.

Deliverables are accepted when each entry is fully linked, source-cited, and passes a quick spot-check for factual correctness and stylistic consistency. If this sounds like your kind of deep dive, let’s get started.
