Migration from AWS DynamoDB to Azure SQL Database and Data Transfer Scripts Development

Project Description:
We are currently in the process of refactoring our Node.js application to a traditional .NET application. As part of this transition, we are seeking an experienced database engineer to assist us in migrating our existing AWS DynamoDB NoSQL database to Azure SQL, a traditional SQL database.
The primary objective of this project is to design and implement a migration strategy to move our existing data to the new Azure SQL Database. This will involve creating the necessary database schema, and developing scripts and tools to transfer data from DynamoDB to Azure SQL. Please note that this project is specific to the database migration and data transfer scripts; we will not be touching the application layers.
Responsibilities:
-Analyze the existing DynamoDB data structure and design a suitable Azure SQL schema that meets our application requirements.
-Develop a detailed migration plan, outlining the steps involved in the process, and any necessary downtime required for the transition.
-Create scripts and tools to export data from DynamoDB and import it into Azure SQL, ensuring data integrity and consistency during the transfer process.
-Coordinate with the development team to ensure a smooth transition to the new database, and provide support for any issues encountered during or after migration.
-Document the migration process and provide a step-by-step guide for future reference.
Requirements:
-Proven experience in migrating databases from NoSQL to SQL, specifically from AWS DynamoDB to Azure SQL Database.
-Strong knowledge of database design principles and experience working with Azure SQL.
-Proficient in SQL scripting and writing data migration scripts.
-Excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
-Strong communication skills, and the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
-Experience working with .NET applications is a plus.
