Senior MERN Developer for Web3 project -- 2

Our team is deep into a Web3 gaming title and I want to bring an experienced MERN engineer onto the core build. The project already has early smart-contract prototypes and a partially wired React front end; now we need hands that can shape the full stack, tighten the blockchain hooks and prepare the platform for a public launch.

What you’ll jump into
• Architecting and coding new React components that feel native to gamers while staying lightning-fast.
• Expanding our Node.js / Express API, optimising MongoDB queries and preparing the data layer for high-volume multiplayer traffic.
• Bridging our Solidity contracts to the UI through Web3.js or Ethers.js, with clean wallet authentication and gas-efficient game actions.
• Writing unit and integration tests, reviewing pull requests and pushing everything through CI/CD.

Our workflow lives in GitHub, with daily check-ins over Discord and weekly feature demos. You’ll collaborate directly with the blockchain lead and the game-design squad, so clear communication and self-direction are key.

Expected deliverables
1. A stable, modular MERN codebase that compiles and deploys without warnings.
2. Fully functional contract calls (minting, in-game transactions, reward claims) surfaced in the React UI.
3. Documentation covering environment setup, build scripts and any bespoke utilities you introduce.
4. At least one knowledge-transfer session per milestone to keep the wider team in sync.
