MEAN Stack Developer with at least 5 years of experience -- 2

About the project:

We have developed a Student management system in the last 4 years. The project is already out in the market and used a good number of childcare centres. The software market is tested and has immense growth potential globally. We are looking for a team member with an architectural vision and contributor that doesn't like to restrict himself/herself only to the assigned tasks.

We are looking for full-stack developers to join the existing team that is focused on product development. The initial task would be to review, refactor and modularise existing applications and then start working on new features.

Must have:

* At least 5+ years of experience working with complex project
* Highly proficient with Nodejs, Express.js, and knowledge of Angular.js 1.0 and the latest
version as we are in process of upgrading the entire code
* Strong experience with MongoDB
* Understanding of code sharing and merging via git
* Understanding of Azure Dev Ops and Pipeline
* Integration experience with RESTful services
* Experience writing modular, scalable code and implementation of microservices
* Experience and knowledge of Typescript

Must be available for 40 hours plus
Must start at 2 pm NZT

Nice to have:

* Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops, Board, Repos, Pipeline and Test Manager
* Advance knowledge for Ubuntu and CentOS
* Advance knowledge for Nginx
* Ability to lead a team of developers
* Ability to review and refactor code
* Ownership of project

Daily Responsibilities

* Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design,
implementation and deployment
* Develop new features, enhance existing ones, implement bug fixes in existing code,
and do code reviews.
* Work primarily in Node, Angular and React
* Conduct peer reviews and give actionable feedback
* Collaborate across time zones via Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and DevOps Tools
* Preferred Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience

* 5+ years of experience in web development.
* Exceptional communication, organisation and leadership skills
* Have a clear understanding of Object-oriented programming (OOP).
* Write clean, self-explanatory code using SOLID principles and design patterns.
* Have strong knowledge of core programming skills, algorithms and data structures.
* Excellent debugging and optimisation skills
* Knowledge of client and server-side applications using modern frameworks like Node,
Angular and React
* Unit/integration testing experience is a plus.
* Desire to continue to grow professional capabilities with ongoing training and
educational opportunities.
