Backend Development

We are building BOOM, a disruptive decentralized social media platform focused on fair content discovery, transparent creator monetization (₹0.005/view), and Web3 integration. The platform has a strong vision to empower creators globally and challenge existing platforms like YouTube and Instagram.

We’re looking for a freelance backend developer to help us build the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) of BOOM.

Tech Stack (Preferred):
Language & Framework: Node.js with Express.js
Database: MongoDB
Authentication: JWT & bcrypt
Media Storage: AWS S3
Hosting: AWS EC2 or Vercel
Optional (Bonus): Experience with Web3, IPFS, and decentralized architectures

Key Responsibilities:
Build scalable RESTful APIs for user and content operations
Implement secure user authentication & authorization
Design and manage MongoDB database schemas
Integrate AWS S3 for media uploads (images/videos)
Set up cloud hosting and deployment (EC2 or Vercel)
Create a clean backend structure ready for AI feed logic and Web3 modules
Collaborate closely on requirements and iterate fast

Requirements:
Proven experience in backend development (Node.js + MongoDB)
Experience integrating cloud storage & hosting
Ability to write clean, modular, and scalable code
Understanding of decentralized systems is a huge plus
Reliable communication and deadline-oriented
