I handle property deals in Norway but operate primarily in English, so I need a trusted local partner who can jump on live business calls and translate between Norwegian and English in real time. Most conversations will revolve around listings, viewings, and general property-related questions, not heavy legal jargon, yet precision and confidentiality are essential.
Here’s how I imagine our workflow: when a buyer, seller, or agent phones, I will three-way you in (or hand the phone to you if we are on-site) so you can interpret smoothly as the discussion unfolds. After each call a brief summary of key points by message or email will help me keep everything straight.
You should be:
• Fluent in both Norwegian and English, comfortable switching quickly mid-conversation
• Familiar with real estate terminology or able to pick it up fast
• Available during Norwegian business hours on short notice
