Doubts about storing NFT images

I am making a collection of 10 images and I want to make the NFTs using the ethereum blockchain, erc 721, but I want to know what is the best way to store images and metadata permanently and decentralized associated with the smart contract.
At the moment I just need to clarify these doubts, then when the collection is finished we will do the NFTs.
