ms for mac

I have written a memoir consisting 115 pages of copy and pictures using MS Word for Mac Version 16.58...I had a sample copy of the memoir professionally printed having uploaded my files. The pictures are the problem, they appear somewhat distorted as well only take up part of a page, I would like in some cases to have the picture fill the entire page.
