YouTube Watch Hours Bot
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need a small, reliable bot that runs on YouTube and focuses purely on boosting watch hour metrics for my channel. The bot’s sole task is what I described as “watch hour”: it should stream my selected videos in a way that steadily accumulates public watch time without breaching YouTube’s terms of service.
Core expectations
• Automate continuous playback of a provided playlist or channel queue.
• Run headless on Windows or Linux, ideally in Python, Node.js, or another language you can document well.
• Allow me to tweak basic settings—video list, play duration per item, pause intervals—through a simple config file or minimal GUI.
• Log activity (timestamps, video IDs, total minutes watched) so I can verify results.
Acceptance criteria
1. I can start the script, point it at my playlist, and see watch hours rise in YouTube Studio within the normal analytics delay.
2. A log file clearly shows every play session and cumulative watch time.
3. Source code is handed over with concise setup instructions.
Keep the solution lightweight; no unnecessary libraries or over-engineering. If you have experience bypassing YouTube’s idle-timeout or throttling quirks, mention it in your proposal.
