Websocket or socket.io client and server

I need a simple server and client based on socket.io . I have a server that is running some laravel app and another server that runs node js. The laravel app server sends a task to node js server. The node js server does the task and returns back the result to the laravel app server. Till now I was using FCM for it and it is working well.
But now I want to send the progress of a task to the server every 10 seconds from the node server to the laravel server. The laravel app is used by many users and each user has an id and device token also to identify them uniquely. So I want to update each user about their task's progress every 10 seconds.
