WebSocket Expertise Consultation

I'm seeking a JavaScript WebSocket expert for a one-hour consultation. My main objective is to troubleshoot issues related to frequent server crashes and connection drops.
We have a VM running a NodeJS program that uses Websockets to communicate with a Mobile App running React Native. For some reason, with some users, the NodeJS program crashes and then restarts. However, this is breaking some websocket connections from time to time causing performance issues.
The websockets are used as part of push notifications to the mobile App. If the server sees a websocket id for a user it will use that, otherwise it will send a push notification.
We’d like to discuss this and understand what we can do to make the system more robust and generally understand websockets better.
