WebRTC Signaling & STUN/TURN Server Setup on Google

Job ID: 35556783

Budget: $250 – $500 USD

We need an expert that can work through zoom to guide us to accomplish the following:

- Setup a Google VPS
- Install node.js
- Install Signaling Server on our VPS. Signaling server comes from
https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/tools/network/webrtc-video-chat-68030

We already have this.
- Install STUN and TURN server on our Google VPS.

- VERIFY new SIGNALING & STUN & TURN servers are functional using “WebRTC Video Chat asset” (see link reference above) from Unity with a WebGL, Android, iOS and PC build of the CALLSCENE where we point to the new SIGNALING/STUN/TURN server in the UNITY code (this is the only change to the scene). We rebuild WebGL, Android, iOS and PC build pointing to the new servers and ensure the WebRTC can stream audio and video between any combination of the clients.

Here is the technical link from the asset we currently have running using their Servers.
https://because-why-not.com/webrtc/tutorials-server-side/
We MUST get this same project running on the new servers you help us get up and running.

PLEASE ask for any clarification. We do not want any misunderstanding in regard to what must be accomplished. THANKS! Jim

Note: We want to accomplish all the above before the end of 2022.

- BONUS - OPTIONAL - (EXTRA $200) ABOVE and BEYOND your BID

- The Unity asset is designed for 1-to-1 media connections because it disconnects from the server after making the connection. The bonus will be paid if you can help us modify the asset to stay connected and provide for 1 video to connect and stream to an additional 2 connections. I.e. this would be a 1-to-3 functional connection, as opposed to simply 1-to-1.
