WebPack Boilerplate for Node.js Application
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking for a WebPack boilerplate that can cater to several specific needs for my Node.js application. The project will primarily run on Linux, and we will be using Git for version control.
Key Requirements:
1. **JS File Management**: The boilerplate should be able to compact and uglify JS files both by individual files and by folders. The configuration for this should be easily adjustable.
2. **Node.js Application Packing**: It should pack the Node.js application along with its modules, similar to what Noderify does. Again, this should be configurable with a list of files.
3. **Preliminary Tasks Execution**: The boilerplate should execute preliminary and intermediate tasks (either OS shell or JS) which may generate output values used during the app packing. This too should be configurable.
4. **Git Repository Check**: It should check the project Git repositories.
5. **Global Packages Version Check**: The boilerplate should verify the versions of required global packages.
6. **File Zipping**: It should create a ZIP file of a configurable list of files and folders.
7. **Git Version Update**: The boilerplate should update the app version in Git.
8. **Error Handling**: It should break or prompt for continuation on errors, if any are generated.
This project is intended for Node v.20 and up. The final deliverable should include an example of the boilerplate and instructions on how to configure each step.
Ideal Skills:
- Extensive experience with Node.js and WebPack
- Proficient in Linux operating system
- Familiarity with Git and its functionalities
- Ability to create comprehensive and easy-to-understand documentation
